Goldmine Rumbles started its life in 2011, built on the idea of shifting tiles repesenting a collapsing goldmine. There's also bidding contests to partner up with claim owners; discovering and using items and equipment; plus good ol fighting and robbing. Yeehaaar.

In 2023, ten prototypes were produced and rolled out for the first Goldmine Rumbles tournament which was held at the Dice Saloon in Brighton.

The second tournament, 2024, was originally slated as a one-day event, but will now take the form of a league table involving multiple meet-ups. A prize of £250 will be awarded to the table leader at the end of June 2025.
